This is Sher-Lu Pai Das–a happy mother, wife, artist, and doctor.
She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002 with B.A. in Biology and B.F.A. in Studio Art degrees.
She received her M.D. degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 2006.
Then, she went on to endure the internship at the Methodist Dallas Medical Center General Surgery Department, residency at UT Southwestern Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management, and major solid organ transplant anesthesiology fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
She has now been enjoying her “real job” at Mayo Clinic Florida Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine.
Currently, she serves as a consultant for the division of transplant anesthesiology, the clinical director for the Preoperative Evaluation (POE) Clinic, and the resident educational coordinator for transplant rotation.
